Poster Printing > Glossary > Screen Printing
Screen Printing is a printing technique that uses a stencil and mesh screen to apply ink to a substrate.
This technique involves creating a stencil (or screen) and using it to apply layers of ink on the printing surface. Each color is applied using a different stencil, one at a time, to achieve the final design. It’s particularly popular for producing vibrant and durable designs on large batches of apparel like t-shirts or promotional items such as tote bags. Screen printing remains a favorite choice among brands for its cost-effectiveness in bulk production and the long-lasting quality of its prints. Brands often leverage this method for advertising campaigns, as it allows them to create eye-catching merchandise that can significantly boost brand visibility.
